TurboStart Warranty

FREE ADJUSTMENT PERIOD: Any battery which becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) due to defects in material or workmanship with the Free Adjustment Period will be replaced to the original purchaser free of charge. The following Free Adjustment Periods apply: 6 and 12 volt AUTOMOTIVE and COMMERCIAL types: 12 Months; MARINE, GARDEN TRACTOR, and GOLF CAR (6 and 8 volts types): 6 MONTHS; 8 VOLT, SCRUBBER, SMALL LIFT TRUCKS, MILITARY, 16 VOLT, and COLLECTOR CAR types: 90 DAYS. Proof or Purchase is required.

PRO-RATA PERIOD: Any battery which becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) after the Free Adjustment Period, but before the end of the warranty period, can be exchanged for a new battery n a pro-rata adjustment basis. The pro-rata cost per month is determined by dividing the purchase cost by the suggested warranty months. Charges to the original owner are based on the actual number of months of service by the battery to be replaced. Proof of Purchase required. All battery types used in Racing and Car Audio applications do not apply to the Pro-Rata period. Pro-rata period on any automotive battery used in commercial service equals 1/2 of the warranty listed for that type.

Free Adjustment and Pro-Rata periods do not apply in the following cases: if the container, covers, or terminals are broken; if the battery has been frozen or damaged due to neglect or abuse including fire, wreckage, explosion, improper installation, or a faulty electrical system; if electrolyte other than as recommended by Axion Power Battery Mfg. Inc., has been used; if the manufacturer's code markings have been destroyed or tampered with; if the battery used is of an electrical size smaller than the one specified by the vehicle manufacturer or used in applications for which is was not designed; or if the battery is installed or charged in reverse.

Battery Specifications are subject to change without notice and may vary due to particular manufacturer’s ratings on certain purchased types.
